YELLOW FACE

Yellow Face
A backstage comedy from the Tony Award-winning author of M. Butterfly that is definitely, sort of, not entirely autobiographical.
By DAVID HENRY HWANG
Directed by LEIGH SILVERMAN
With NOAH BEAN, FRANCIS JUE, JULIENNE HANZELKA KIM, KATHRYN LAYNG, HOON LEE, LUCAS CALEB ROONEY, ANTHONY TORN
David Henry Hwang puts himself center stage with alter-ego DHH in this very funny, very unreliable memoir. Part autobiography, part mockumentary, Yellow Face blends truth and fiction to give us a funny and moving backstage look at Hwang's search to confront the roles that race and ethnicity play in America. A World Premiere co-production with Center Theatre Group.
