Heeb Magazine (The New Jew Review) presents Heeb
Storytelling: part cabaret, part Catskills, this popular series pushes
the very notion of a Jewish story to the brink. Guaranteed to be a
fearlessly funny evening of 7-minute stories.
Kristen
Schaal (Mel on "Flight of the Conchords") will host the next Heeb
Storytelling event at Joe's Pub, with seven-minutes stories by
writer/performer Iris Bahr ("Dai" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm");
improv/musician Matthew Loren Cohen ("The Next Big Broadway Musical!");
Avi Gesser (NYC lawyer); comedian Gilbert Gottfried; "Odd" Todd
Rosenberg (www.oddtodd.com ); Rachel Shukert (Have You No Shame?);
comedian Max Silvestri (Caroline's); and Alix Strauss (Joy of Funerals).
