A charismatic performer, Fantcha, developed her own, unique musical style with African, Cuban and Portugese inflections. The mornas and coladeiras she sings are the soulful, blues-like songs, like the fado of Portugal, that are about lost love and the trials of life. Her rich, sensuous voice lends itself beautifully to love songs and danceable tunes alike and, has audiences listening raptly or on their feet dancing.
