Since the days of Joseph Papp, a distinct group of individuals have partnered with us to help produce The Public's diverse array of productions and programs. These contributions help keep ticket prices affordable downtown and free for Shakespeare in the Park. The Public is continually dedicated to embracing the complexities of contemporary society and nurturing both artists and audiences through productions that reflect the city it serves - diverse, brilliant, raw, and alive. Since 70% of the annual budget comes from the generosity of our donors, your support helps ensure the development and expansion of The Public's unique, challenging productions, educational initiatives, and free and reduced cost programming.
